When we walk on the street, we all pass by a gorgeous, stunning house from time to time.
I always wonder if the interior of the house, looks as luxurious as the exterior.
I'm taking you on a trip to my fantasy house from the inside and out!

This lovely NYC townhouse is a dream!




The entrance would have a double staircase like this:




It would have cute little chests around the house, played beautifully with decorations like this picture:




The hallway neighbouring the bedrooms would look this this one:




The master bedroom would have a glamorous tufted headboard.




The bedside has a tray of my favorite perfume bottles.




To complete the rooms perfectly, I would add a home perfume!
Lampe Berger Paris is a luxury brand of home frangrances and perfumes I recently discovered.
Their lamps and home frangrances are high quality and remains the best at fragrancing
the air in a house while diffusing subtle fragrances.

Maurice Berger was a pharmacy dispenser who invented and patented the first lamp

My Perfect Caribbean Getaway: Turks and Caicos islands!

From one dream destination to another...
I'm letting you in on a fantasy destination I'm dying to visit: Turks and Caicos!

Because with this somber, rainy weather here in Europe, everyone's longing for a sunny Caribbean getaway.

You know how many women on Pinterest create their fantasy wedding boards?
Well, the Turks & Caicos would be on my honeymoon destination board!







According to Condé Nast Traveller, the Turks & Caicos islands are famous for their rum punch!





To make your own Turks & Caicos-inspired rum punch, you need:
3 ounces fresh pineapple juice
2 ounces fresh orange juice
1 ounce gold (or dark) rum + 1/2 ounce to pour on top
1 ounce coconut rum,
grenadine and lime to garnish




Turks & Caicos is one of the Holland America Line cruises stops.
You can see the Eurodam here arriving at port.




The Turks and Caicos islands are a British Overseas Territory consisting
of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands.
You can spot the Turks & Caicos on the center of the map.

Turkish Delight in Turkey!

So my adventerous life took me to Turkey.
I attended a psychology congress, combining work with pleasure.

I flew to Izmir, which is the third largest city in Turkey.
My hotel was in a region called Özdere, by the sea.

My hotel was amazing!
When travelling to a non-Western country, I always advice to book
at least a 4 or 5-star hotel, as the rating system can differ from
country to country and you might find yourself in a yucky hotel.





Onyria Claros Beach & Spa Resort...







My accomodation was the top floor of a bungalow, and this was my view each morning.







The swimming pools were closeby.





As well as the beach.







The hotel had lovely surroundings.







A day on exursion led me to see the ruins nearby.





And the food was enjoyed with a great view, company and taste!

One of the perks of living on my own are no forceful conversations is the morning.
I like coming and going whenever I please, and sometimes, I leave the dishes for 2 whole days.
I especially loved decorating my place when I found my apartment.
It’s not very big, but I made the best of it.

One of the downsides of living on my own (or more specifically, my apartment) is
the lack of natural light.

I tried to make the best of it, and set the dining table near a window, as well as
my office desk, but still… an extra window here and there would come in handy.


This stunning house does not have the same issues as me ;)
I think the owners build a window in every, single room. Smart!



This room obviously has all the light in the world. From floor to ceiling nothing but window.




I adore this room. The color-scheme, the whimsy feel & the 3 joining windows, providing tons of light.
