Rue Cambon

Let me take you on a walking-trip
through my favorite street in Paris:

Rue Cambon
(1st arrondissement)

Clothes, Chocolate & Culture
are the main sights in this street.

The street is most known for Coco Chanel's first boutique.

Today, Karl Lagerfeld & his briliant seamstresses
make Haute Couture by hand in this building.

For a detailed documentary film about this process click here.
Or, for the making of one single couture gown click here.

At the beginning of the street
(or end, depends on what way you look at it)
resides Pierre Hermé's most recent pâtisserie.

It is a "macarons & chocolats"-only store.

I walked over to the Tuileries Jardin,
and ate mine sitting at a fountain.

Ah, the Parisian life!

Bonne Journée!
