Christmas Wish List

Dear Santa,
Define “good” ...

Dinnerware

Dear Santa,
I've written you for three years now asking
for a Lady Dior bag. Please, I really really
want a Lady Dior bag this year!

Dear Santa,
I left milk and cookies for you under
the tree, and I left carrots for your
reindeer outside the backdoor.

Patience Brewster

But Santa,
It's nice to be naughty...

Dear Santa,
I need more shoes please!
All my friends have more shoes than me.
Please see what you can do.

Michael Kors

Dear Santa,
What do you do the other 364 days of the year?

Dear Santa,
I can explain ...

I'd Rather Go Shopping

Minka Kelly in Chanel

Ever feel like you need to go shopping
before the week is over?

Your head is a whirlwind of thoughts and
the only way to regain calmness is to enter a store.

Window shopping, browsing the racks,
trying on clothes, returning them ...

You know ... the same routine.

Summer hasn't even begun and I'm already tearing out pages
from magazines to get inspired for Autumn / Winter.

So much to buy ...

So much to try ...

So much to see ...

Pfew ... Where do I begin?

Shopping in Paris

While the snow is melting and the temperature is going up little by little, I greatly feel the urge to go out and indulge in my favorite activity: a day of shopping. Having been in a few places around the world, there's no place like Paris to do a little bit of shopping and window browsing. To me, a perfect day would be spend in various magasins all over the city.

First stop, Elie Saab at the Rond Point des Champs Elysées to look for a haute couture evening gown that I could wear to the Oscars.

A small walk around the block, brings me to Christian Dior to pick up a new bottle of Miss Dior Cherie.

And while I'm on Avenue Montaigne, I might as well stop at hotel Plaza Athenée, sit on the terras and enjoy a café au lait and a coupe autour du chocolat.

Pfew, this running in and out of magasins is getting me tired! I'd better head over to Rue Cambon for a few signature Chanel pieces.

My day of shopping is over and I awaken from my dream. I look around and I'm sadly not in Paris. But till then, I have something to look forward to!

Yours sincerely,
