Coco Chanel's French Riviera Estate For Sale

Many of us admire Coco Chanel's eye for style, her panache, and
the vigor she had to change the way women dressed.

Though there still remain some mysteries about her life, we do know that she
owned an expectional French Riviera residence from 1929 to 1953.

This amazing property of approximate 3,5 hectares (8.6 acres), was designed
by the architect Robert Streitz for Mademoiselle Chanel and the
Duke of Westminster.

Mademoiselle Chanel was actively involved in all stages of the design and
creation of the property.

Guests of the 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms estate included: Stravinsky, Picasso,
Somerset Maugham, Winston Churchill, the Duke of Windsor, Aristotle
Onassis, Rose Kennedy, as well as Prince Rainier and Princess Grace.

The villa, which lies in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, can be yours
for 37 million euros (48.8 million dollars).

Thank you for this magnificent post and what a villa this is.
I would dearly love to stay here for one month and just paint. I promise I could live on bread and water for this privilege.
