My USA West-Coast Adventure! French Madame at the Grand Canyon.

After Los Angeles, we drove through the dessert to see the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon is so large, and being on a time schedule we only had time to see the South Rim of it.

Hopefully next time I get to see the North Rim as well, and visit some other national parks in Arizona.
Nevertheless, the views were spectacular!

Next, and sadly final stop: Las Vegas, Nevada!

My USA West-Coast Adventure! French Madame in LA.

Driving the immense long highway of the Pacific Coast, we made our final stop before reaching LA in Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara has such a movie-like perfect beach, and the spirit to go with it.





Our days in Los Angeles were filled with lots of driving, surprisingly not too much traffic, and HOT weather.
We checked all the touristic landmarks.







I loved driving through the Hollywood hills.

After that, we hit the Hollywood Boulevard.
It was a bit too crowded for me, and pushy salesmen on the street are not for me so went to Beverly Hills.

I could spend a fortune hours there...
I did not. Thankfully.

We made our way through the gorgeous neighborhoods of Beverly Hills to visit something special...
Something true Californian...





California Donuts that is!
I wrote a post about them for my other blog.

They are the bomb!





We spend a few evenings on the beach of Malibu.



And felt like kids visiting Universal Studios.






But then again, this entire trip made us feel like kids discovering new things everday.

My USA West-Coast Adventure! French Madame & Pacific Coast Highway

So the journey continues along the most beautiful highway you could drive: the Pacific Coast Highway.
Because I already had done the drive along the PCH years ago, I knew that this was going to be one of the most memorable things of our trip.

Just look at the beautiful scenery from 'the lone cypress' here on pebble beach:



But before the drive on the PCH, we stayed for 2 days in Monterey.
Monterey is such a lovely small town with so much charm (& good food)

Then we drove from Monterey all the way to Los Angeles in one day, beginning our journey through Pebble Beach.
If you love real estate and golf, this is a paradise.







Just outside Pebble Beach & Monterey, you enter Big Sur, which is reall the start of the beautiful drive.





The views are breathtaking for hours on end.



We stopped a few times along the way.
