What makes Paris so beautiful?

Its people, its dogs, its atmosphere?
Les gens, les chiens, l'atmosphère?

I say it's Paris' buildings!

I have taken dozens & dozens of photographs
of Paris' most mesmerizing buildings ...

When I'm walking by, or sitting at a café ...

Anything from modern architectual buildings ...

To old, classical buildings ...

Handbag Cookie Jars

Ooh la la! I'm starting the weekend on a sweet note. If you don't want to spend another fortune on Prada, Fendi or Valentino bags, Neiman Marcus makes these fashionable 'designer handbag' cookie jars for under $35. Well ... technically they're knock-offs, but who cares; your cookies won't know the difference!

A Sweet Weekend to all!

I've Been Tagged! & Pretty in Pink - Part II

Debby from Inspired Design tagged me with the "6th Photo Game".
The rules are pretty simple: show us your 6th photo of your blog!

Now for me, that happend to be in my first blog post: click here.
It was a furniture-post about the color pink.

This is my 6th photo posted on my blog ...

It is called the "Perfection" table lamp ...
Found it on Horchow.

In the months following that first post,
I've collected so many more stunning
pink furniture images ...

So I present to you, Pretty in Pink Part Deux:

A girl sometimes just needs to slip into a pink dress ...

Pink shoes ...

And view life through rose colored glasses.

Rue Cambon

Let me take you on a walking-trip
through my favorite street in Paris:

Rue Cambon
(1st arrondissement)

Clothes, Chocolate & Culture
are the main sights in this street.

The street is most known for Coco Chanel's first boutique.

Today, Karl Lagerfeld & his briliant seamstresses
make Haute Couture by hand in this building.

For a detailed documentary film about this process click here.
Or, for the making of one single couture gown click here.

At the beginning of the street
(or end, depends on what way you look at it)
resides Pierre Hermé's most recent pâtisserie.

It is a "macarons & chocolats"-only store.

I walked over to the Tuileries Jardin,
and ate mine sitting at a fountain.

Ah, the Parisian life!

Bonne Journée!
