Military in Style

Military Fashion

Military fashion as a trend is nothing new,
but while fashion trends tend to burn out within a few years,
the women's military fashion trend isn't going anywhere.

Alexander McQueen

Pin-sharp military silhouettes are at the heart
of the Alexander McQueen aesthetic and these olive
fashion pieces are a stunning example of the military look.

Military Necklaces
Military with glamour

Touches of moss and army-green can instantly add
a military feel to your look.

Giuseppe Zanotti, Burberry Prorsum

One of the key elements of military fashion are
military inspired boots. Ankle, calf or thigh high.

Military Fashion
Christian Louboutin

A great coat or military jacket is an important piece.
And the best thing is, you don't have to dig deep in your wallet:

H&M

I got a kick when I saw my fashion crush Hala Gorani
(from CNN) wearing the top left jacket, identical to the one I own!

Go-to designers that have the military look down
to a key are Alexander McQueen, Balmain & Burberry Prorsum.

Followed by the obvious color of army green ...
Navy, gray and black are the essential colors of military fashion.

Tibi, Yves Saint Laurent

I particularly love the double breasted jackets and coats.
Even when you're not into the whole military trend, these pieces are timeless.

Are you liking the military trends?
How did you honor Veterans Day yesterday?

Ps. How fierce does Kate Middleton rock this military look?!

I love this style especially when it's worn in a feminine way x

I love a little 'military chic' as long as it is done with a good sense of panache and style. Too much of a good thing is never ideal and I love to mix these strict masculine lines with softer and more feminine touches like red lips, heels and jewellery.

Loving the inspiration you shared.
