After returning from Amsterdam and picking up my new puppy along the way
(a mini dachshund!), I'm back in Paris... Well, virtually at least.

The quintessential artwork at Rodin's musuem is 'The Tinker' or 'Le Penseur'.





With a sky as blue as it was that day, it easy to take dozens of
beautiful pictures of the sculptures.







Rodin's work is truly artistic.







The view from the museum overlooking the garden is a one-of-kind view.

Paris Photo of the Day: Ladurée Rose Pastry

I'm leaving blogging for a short week to head to Amsterdam (work-related),

This picture not might be typical Parisian,
but I spotted these colorful KitchenAid mixers at Le Bon Marché,
one of Paris' finest department stores.

I was so mesmirised by all the colors.





The stunning view from inside the store.
Every floor level houses the most beautiful designer goods.





But I found my sanctuary at the top floor,
over at the kitchen supplies.

Paris Photo of the Day: Paris Streets

One of the amazing things about Paris,
and the reason why the city so loved by everyone,
is that you can't turn a corner or street without a spectacular view.

I was just on my way to a store when I passed this gorgeous roundabout.





And here I was heading for a bakery that I heard had amazing
white chocolate chip cookies when I spotted this gorgeous scenery.





So lovely!

You might have wondered where I ate that luscious-looking scone filled with ice cream
and drenched in red berry syrup?

A Priori Thé is situated in the lovely Galerie Vivienne.
I sat outside the tearoom and enjoyed the wonderful scenery of the gallery.





Even if you have no plans of stopping at A Priori Thé,
it is a lovely walkway to pass through.

It is one of my favorite photographs I've ever taken in Paris.

Paris Photo of the Day: A Priori Thé Dessert

We continue with our beautiful tour through Paris,
every day with a few photos.

Today's Paris Photo of the Day is this delicious dessert
from a place called A Priori Thé.





It is actually a scone with a red berry syrup and ice cream in the middle.

To counterbalance the coldness of the ice cream, I ordered their
hot chocolate to accompany the dessert.





So delicious!

One of Parc Monceau's most beautiful statue/building is near the pond.
These ancient-looking poles look as if they survived hundreds of years in Paris...
They probably have.

Such a stunning feature of the park!

Paris Photo of the Day: Monet's Water Lilies

Our next Paris Photo of the Day is
Claude Monet's iconinc water lilies painting.

Musée de l'Orangerie has many works of impressionist and post-impressionist artists,
such as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-August Renoir, Alfred Sisley.
But it is most famous for housing 8 of Claude Monet's Water Lilies.





They are all so incredibly long, it is impossible to photograph a whole painting!















If you love impressionistic painters as much as I do,
this museum and musée d'Orsay are great to visit!
