Paris Photo of the Day: Moulin Rouge

Our first Paris Photo of the Day of 2014, back into the series is the ever-so-sexy Moulin Rouge!

Moulin Rouge or Red Mill, was founded in 1889.
The Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance.

Moulin Rouge

I took this photograph, but did not went inside.
I hear it has become a somewhat vulgar tourist attraction, rather than a Parisian peep show.

Au Revoir,

Dear French Madame, my Lovely, I do beg to differ. This wonderful show employs the best dancers and talents from all over our world. It is beautifully costumed and choreographed, I have been every time I have been to Paris many times over the last 12 years! I love it. It is so beautiful it makes me cry and the joy on the dancers' faces truly lovely! Go and SEE it! Xxx
