Laduree at Rue Bonaparte

Ladurée - Rue Bonaparte

Oh Ladurée... Where would your international clientele be if it weren't for blogs?

For the few of you who don't know (though I doubt that are very few) Ladurée is a French luxury bakery
and sweets maker house created in 1862.

It is one of the top premier sellers of the double-decker macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day.
They are still one of the best known makers of macarons in the world.

Unaware that is was a French holiday, I found myself walking to 2 closed pâtisseries that day.
So I was very grateful, Ladurée had his doors open and I hadn't gone to this
iconic location of theirs on Rue Bonaparte.

The ice cream cups and macaron towers gleamed at me from the window.
How can one resist?!

And what did I got?.........

Ladurée Macarons

Salted caramel - melon - rose - minty strawberry - cherry!

A sweet week & weekend to you all!
