As many people in the fashion industry, or simply just fashion admirers, I am deeply saddened by the loss of Oscar de la Renta.

I wrote so many posts about him, I think I mentioned no other designer more often on my 'Look of the Week'-series.
- My Oscar de la Renta-inspired thigh high boots.
- A December-edition of 'Look of the Week'.
- A post about exquisite gowns, featuring many by Oscar.
Carrie Bradshaw's iconic Oscar de la Renta dress.

And the many hours spent browsing his collections on Style.com.
He was always in my top 5 favorite designers. Definitely number 1 favorite American designer.
His last collection, Spring 2015:
One of my all-time favorite shows, Spring 2014:
Goodbye dear Oscar.
You will be missed and thought of often.
