It was my birthday in November and I turned 27 years young.

I do not care much for birthdays at all - in fact, I just rather omit the whole day.

But it was a lovely day, starting with a huge French breakfast with my mother,
followed by buying various cakes from the city's best patisseries,
and ended with a sensational dinner.
