Copenhagen Part III

Hello lovely readers!
If you're reading this, it means you've probably been sick by my lack of posts the last few months,
so I appreciate you & your time reading this even more.

I've been away (read: busy) with many other things lately but I wanted to give you an update about my life.

I'm still blogging for Paris Loves Pastry! Check out my recipes if you're hungry!
As far as social media, I'm more active than ever!

French Madame's Facebook & Pinterest are updated daily.
And I tweet! Follow me here!

And oh yes. I'm addicted to Instagram (username: FrenchMadame & DanielleTdd).

BUT the real reason I'm posting again is because I wanted to share my pictures from vacation.
I took a 2-week cruise with my mother to Scandinavia and some other countries,
and I'm starting with (my 2nd fav country in the world) Copenhagen in Denmark!!!

Am I boring you with this image?
She's been on the blog quite a few times due to my love of Copenhagen, but I
never tire of her:

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid.
The real fairy tale is quite different from the Disney version:
In the original story by Hans Christian Anderson when the young mermaid trades
her voice for legs, her feet feel as if she's walking on swords. The prince
marries someone else, and the mermaid is heartbroken. She sits by the sea
regretting deeply what she gave up for her prince charming.

Copenhagen scenery by the water is so incredibly lush and mesmirising.

I walked past the Royal Palace, Amalienbourg.

Made a quick stop at Nyhavn.

And, for the first time in my third visit, went to Tivoli!
Copenhagen's own amusement park, right in the center of the city.

Tivoli really has beautiful gardens.
As a treat, I snacked on this gorgeous cake called 'the Tivoli cake'

But I ate/drank so much more...

Illum, Copenhagen

Blueberry Pancakes

Pastry Swan

Champagne Vodka Dream Cocktail

Whoops!

Till next post (in Stockholm!),

You're back with a great post! Copengahen looks wonderful and clearly has so much to offer. I enjoyed reading more about The Little Mermaid and I've always loved coloured buildings. Those cakes look delicious and so pretty. I think I should add Copenhagen to my must-visit list!

I remember visiting Copenhagen and loved the people and buildings and the deliscious food. A beautiful place to visit.

Love the photos.
